Учора, 28 грудня, пішов із життя відомий футболіст і тренер Михайло Кузьмін. Про це інформує chernivtsisport.com.
Цю сумну звістку «ЧернівціСпорт» повідомив ветеран буковинського футболу, вихованець Михайла Микитовича – Валерій Сарафінчан.
Михайло Кузьмін народився 14 вересня 1938 року в Одесі. У 1957 році виграв Кубок міста серед колективів фізкультури, а згодом переїхав до Нововолинська Волинської області, де виступав за місцевий «Шахтар». А у 1959 році команда ГДО (Луцьк), за яку грав Михайло Кузьмін, здобула право грати у чемпіонаті СРСР (клас «Б»).
У 1960-1962 роках Михайло Кузьмін захищав кольори луцької «Волині», а у 1963 році – команди «Авангард» (Жовті Води).
У 1962 Михайло Микитович закінчив школу тренерів при Київському державному інституті фізичної культури.
Після завершення кар’єри гравця Михайло Кузьмін працював тренером групи підготовки при команді майстрів «Волинь» (Луцьк), а працював із командами «Цементник» (Семипалатинськ) і «Шахтар» (Нововолинськ).
У 70-х роках Михайло Кузьмін переїхав у Чернівці. У 1973-1985 роках працював тренером у ДЮСШ «Буковина», а згодом – у ДЮСШ №2. У 1992 році Михайло Микитович став директором стадіону «Юність» («Гарт»).
Серед кращих буковинських вихованців Михайла Кузьміна: Віктор Мглинець, Валерій Сарафінчан, Сергій Темерівський, Петро Бойчук, Сергій Луцяк, Андрій Дубковецький.
Футбольна громадськість Буковини висловлює співчуття рідним і близьким покійного.
