13 грудня 2019 року відбулися збори суддів Сокирянського районного суду Чернівецької області, на порядок денний яких були винесені питання щодо обрання голови суду. Про це повідомляє прес-центр суду.
За результатами таємного голосування головою Сокирянського районного суду Чернівецької області обрали суддю Унгуряна Сергія Володимировича.
Відповідно до Закону України «Про судоустрій і статус суддів» голова суду обирається на посаду строком на три роки, але не більш як на строк повноважень судді.
