Учора, 11 грудня, у селі Банилів на Вижниччині загорівся житловий будинок. До пожежі призвела необережність господаря під час паління. Чоловік запалив сигарету в ліжку й заснув. Недопалок впав у постільні речі й почав тліти.
Коли до чоловіка прийшла листоноша, вона побачила, що з будинку йде дим. Розуміючи, що власник проживав один і на той момент міг перебувати всередині, місцеві мешканці викликали рятувальників. Про це повідомляє пресслужба УДСНС Чернівецькій області.
Не гаючи часу, люди увійшли всередину й вивели з будинку господаря. Під час пожежі 68-річний чоловік травмувався – отруївся чадним газом. Його госпіталізували до реанімаційного відділення Вижницької центральної районної лікарні.
Пожежу ліквідувало місцеве населення до прибуття вогнеборців. Полум’я пошкодило ліжко в кімнаті та частково підлогу.
