Цьогорічну головну ялинку, яка прикрасить Соборну площу міста, знайшли не в лісовому господарстві, як щороку відбувається, а практично в центрі міста, на подвір’ї чернівчанина.
Власник 27-метрової ялинки звернувся до Тресту зеленого господарства та протизсувних робіт міської ради з проханням знести 27-метрове дерево. Натомість було прийнято рішення встановити цю ялинку на Соборній площі.
Як повідомив начальник Тресту зеленого господарства та протизсувних робіт Олександр Брязкало, зрізання та встановлення головної ялинки заплановано сьогодні, 10 грудня. ЇЇ висота становитиме біля 20 метрів.
Відкриття новорічної красуні відбудеться 19 грудня о 17 годині.
