Уранці 8 грудня у селі Росошани Кельменецького району сталася пожежа. Вона виникла житловому будинку, де мешкав 85-річний чоловік. За попередньою інформацією, причиною загорання стала необережність господаря під час паління.
Ймовірно, чоловік курив у ліжку й заснув, а недопалок впав у постільні речі, почав тліти, згодом вогонь перекинувся на килим біля ліжка. Сусідка, яка доглядала за чоловіком, прийшла до будинку й помітила дим. Жінка повідомила про пожежу за номером 101. Про це повідомляє пресслужба УДСНС у Чернівецькій області.
Знаючи про те, що у будинку перебуває господар, вона разом з іншими сусідами увійшли в кімнату й винесли з задимленого приміщення травмованого власника. Чоловік був без свідомості. Його з ознаками отруєння продуктами горіння госпіталізували до реанімаційного відділення Кельменецької центральної районної лікарні, де чоловік й перебуває на даний час.
Оскільки площа пожежі була невеликою, місцеві жителі зуміли самотужки ліквідувати пожежу до прибуття прибуття пожежно-рятувальних підрозділів. Вогонь знищив ліжко та домашні речі у кімнаті.
Інші пожежі мали місце в обласному центрі, а також Кіцманському, Сокирянському, Глибоцькому районах.
