Зокрема, 25 листопада внаслідок короткого замкнення електромережі виникла пожежа на горищі 4-поверхового житлового будинку с. Великий Кучурів Сторожинецького району.
Загорання у власному помешканні помітив господар, який у цей час перебував вдома. Чоловік повідомив про подію Службу порятунку. Про це повідомляє пресслужба УДСНС у Чернівецькій області.
До ліквідації цієї пожежі залучили вогнеборців 12 державної пожежно-рятувальної частини м. Сторожинець, Групи пожежогасіння Аварійно-рятувального загону спецпризначення та місцевий пожежно-рятувальний підрозділ с. Великий Кучурів.
Оскільки горище будинку було захаращене домашніми речами та іншим майном, вогонь швидко поширювався приміщенням. На момент приїзду до місця події рятувальників площа пожежі вже складала 150 кв. м. У результаті злагоджених дій усіх підрозділів пожежу вдалося локалізувати й ліквідувати та врятувати будинок від вогню.
У результаті пожежі частково знищена покрівлю та перекриття житлового будинку, господарські речі та майно.
