Кабінет Міністрів скасував рішення про надання безкоштовних довготривалих віз для громадян Естонії. Таке рішення було ухвалене у відповідь на аналогічний крок з боку Естонії щодо українців.
Розпорядження про скасування візових пільг для громадян Естонії опублікований на сайті Кабінету Міністрів України, передає 24 канал.
Таким чином було скасовано рішення уряду Володимира Гройсмана 2018 року про безкоштовні довготривалі візи. В Естонії аналогічні пільги для українців діяли ще з 2010 року, поки їх не було скасовано з 1 листопада 2019 року.
Чому Естонія скасувала пільги для українців?
Рішення про скасування безкоштовних довготривалих віз для українців уряд Естонії ухвалив у вересні 2019 року. Набув чинності він з 1 листопада цього ж року.
В естонському уряді такий крок пояснили тим, що 90% українців, які зверталися по цю візу, просили її для роботи на території Естонії. Таким чином, на думку державе, підтримувати пільгове ставлення до громадян України не виправдано.
