Сьогодні, 21 листопада, управління молоді та спорту обласної державної адміністрації спільно з молодіжними громадськими організаціями області провело інформаційно-профілактичну акцію «No Smoking Day» до Міжнародного дня відмови від паління.
Акція проходила в центрі міста Чернівці, а саме на Центральній, Соборній, Театральній площах та прилеглих вулицях. Про це повідомляє пресслужба Чернівецької ОДА.
Під час акції представники Управління та молодіжних організацій розділились на невеличкі групи, аби охопити якомога більше курців та пропонували всім, хто палить обміняти цигарку на цукерку та розповсюдили інформаційні листівки щодо шкідливої дії тютюну на організм людини.
Довідково. Офіційно Міжнародний день відмови від паління відзначають в третій четвер листопада. День виник в 1977 році в США, а заснований ВООЗ як міжнародний в 1988 році. Заходи цього дня присвячені питанням зниження тютюнової залежності.
Цей День — прекрасна можливість для тих, хто палить, дізнатися — чому і наскільки просто залишити це.
