Завдяки спільним зусиллям МВС і НПУ вдалося досягти змін у законодавстві і зробити його більш жорстким до кривдників. Відповідно, поліція зможе ефективніше боротися з домашніми насильниками.
Загалом по Україні в усіх обласних центрах і великих містах одночасно стартували 45 таких груп.
Наразі на обліку поліції перебуває приблизно півтори тисячі таких осіб. Зазвичай, жертви намагаються не розголошувати, що відбувається у них вдома. І така ситуація є вкрай небезпечною – відчуття безкарності спонукає кривдників і надалі знущатися над своїми близькими. Багато тяжких злочинів, скоєно саме в побутових умовах. Про це повідомляє відділ комунікації поліції Чернівецької області.
Відтепер поліція зможе захистити ще більше жертв домашніх насильників. До спеціальної мобільної групи увійшли кваліфіковані дільничні офіцери поліції та інспектори патрульної поліції. Вони пройшли відповідне навчання, забезпечені автомобілем, сучасними засобами комунікації та готові оперативно реагувати на факти домашнього насильства.
