Перш ніж приступити до розробки лісосіки головного користування у гірських лісових масивах урочища Думітриця, лісівники Банилівського лісництва ДП «Сторожинецький лісгосп» побудували тимчасові переїзди через річки і потічки, що зустрічаються на трелювальній дорозі. Нею трактори і лісовози транспортують матеріали лісозаготівлі з верхнього складу до місця їх складування і переробки.
В урочищі Думітриця відстань трелювання деревини гірським схилом з лісосіки до ґрунтової дороги – 1,5 км. Гірська річка Кошуя пересікає цей маршрут тричі. Тож збудовано три мости для лісовозної техніки, які дозволяють річці безперешкодно струменіти своїм природним руслом.
«Загалом маємо у лісництві 5 таких тимчасових мостів, – розповідає лісничий Банилівського лісництва Валерій Ілліч Шпак. – На усіх етапах заготівлі деревини застосовуємо екологічно ощадні технології. Дбаємо про лісові екосистеми, зокрема забезпечуємо охорону водних біоресурсів під час проведення лісозаготівельних робіт».
Малі річки у лісфонді Банилівського лісництва – з джерельно чистою водою, вирують на перекатах, де вода піниться на камінні, що вкриває русло. В них навіть водиться дика струмкова форель. Завдяки тимчасовим мостам, лісозаготівельні трактори і лісовози не зачіпають гірських річок.
