Президент України зазначив, що найближчим часом Верховна Рада розробить і ухвалить закон, який «чітко встановить види і механізми референдуму».
Президент України Володимир Зеленський заявив, що громадяни інших держав та іноземні компанії отримають право купувати українську землю, тільки якщо на це дасть згоду український народ на референдумі.
Про це він сказав у своєму відеозверненні, опублікованому на офіційних сторінках президента в соціальних мережах.
«Прийнято наступне рішення – між першим та другим читанням у діючий проект закону (про відкриття ринку земель сільськогосподарського призначення) будуть внесені правки, згідно з якими – право продавати і купувати землю матимуть лише українські громадяни та українські компанії, засновані виключно українськими громадянами. Іноземці та компанії, в яких серед засновників є іноземці, отримають право купувати українські землі, українські земельні ділянки тільки у випадку, якщо на це буде дано згоду народу України на всеукраїнському референдумі. Відповідний пункт буде міститися в законі», – сказав він.
