Міністр оборони Андрій Загороднюк заявив, що Україна рухається до скасування обов’язкового призову до армії.
Про це він заявив в ефірі “ТСН.Тиждень”.
“Це не буде скоро, це не буде протягом року, але це моя персональна ціль — скасувати призов. І це — позиція держави взагалі, що ми рухаємось до професійної армії, згідно із стандартами НАТО, яка підготовлена, оснащена. І головне — що кожен військовослужбовець повинен знати своє місце, у нього має бути чітка військова кар’єра і захищені права. Так, щоб ми могли конкурувати при відборі за кращих людей”, — сказав Загороднюк.
Він також зазначив, що хороша і сучасна техніка для українських військових також є частиною військових спроможностей України.
