Сьогодні, 4 листопада, чернівчани приєднались до всеукраїнської акції “Рік без Каті”, приуроченої річниці смерті херсонської активістки Катерини Гандзюк.
Десятки людей вийшли на Центральну площу Чернівців тримаючи у руках постери зі словами: «Хто замовив Катю Гандзюк?».
«Ми бачимо тільки незрозумілі кроки влади, обіцянки, але жодного виконаного чи зробленого розслідування не було. Ось для цього ми й тут зібрались. Адже завтра тут може бути кожен із нас. Всі, хто активно виходив на цю площу. І ми це всі чудово розуміємо. Ми маємо змусити нашу правоохоронну систему нарешті почати працювати. Нову владу – навчитись працювати. І запитати – коли відбудуться справжні поканання. Ми маємо про це говорити. Ми маємо про це заявляти. Бо завтра – це кожен з нас», – сказав один із учасників акції.
Крім того, під час акції пам‘яті учасники зачитали звернення до Верховної Ради. Вони просять владу розслідувати вбивство активістки.
Нагадаємо, на активістку і радницю мера Херсона Катерину Гандзюк напали 31 липня 2018 року. Її облили сірчаною кислотою у дворі власного будинку. Жінка зазнала 30% опіків тіла і потрапила до лікарні. Медики кілька місяців боролися за життя та здоров’я Гандзюк, провели низку операцій, проте її серце не витримало і 4 листопада 2018 року жінка померла в лікарні.
У червні 2019 року суд виніс вироки 5 співучасникам злочину:
- координатор замаху Сергій Торбін був засуджений до 6 років і 6 місяців ув’язнення,
- нападник Микита Грабчук – 6 років в’язниці,
- причетні до нападу Володимир Васянович та В’ячеслав Вишневський – по 4 роки ув’язнення,
- Віктор Горбунов – 3 роки.
У причетності до вбивства підозрюють також Олексія Левіна, але він ще перебуває в розшуку.
Замовники злочину досі не встановлені і відповідно не покарані. Адвокати вважають замовниками вбивства голову Херсонської облради Владислава Мангера та Ігоря Павловського.
