Сьогодні, 30 жовтня, Ізраїль оголосив про закриття всіх своїх посольств і представництв по всьому світу, зокрема дипломатичну місію в Україні, повідомляється на Facebook-сторінці дипломатичної місії, виданні The Times of Israel та інших місцевих виданнях.
Починаючи з 1:00 за єрусалимським часом (співпадає з київським) і до отримання нових оголошень всі дипломатичні місії Ізраїлю будуть закриті для відвідувачів. Причиною є страйк, оголошений робочим комітетом Міністерства закордонних справ і Міністерства оборони Ізраїлю.
За словами представників комітету, такі дії стали єдино можливим кроком протесту проти рішення Міністерства фінансів скоротити витрати ізраїльських дипломатів і представників по всьому світу і спробувати застосувати нові правила звітності заднім числом.
“Ізраїльські дипломати зобов’язані постійно намагатися посилити силу та стійкість Ізраїлю. На жаль, рішення Міністерства фінансів не залишає нам іншого вибору, як вжити вищезазначених заходів, оскільки життєвим інтересам держави Ізраїль завдана шкода. Ми сподіваємось, що ця криза буде вирішена якнайшвидше”, — вказано у повідомленні посольства в Україні.
