Механізм незаконного переправлення до країн ЄС розкраденої державної лісопродукції блокувала в Чернівецькій області Служба безпеки України. Про це повідомила пресслужба УСБУ в Чернівецькій області
Місцевий підприємець нелегально закуповував у держлісгоспів Буковини та Закарпаття великі партії необлікованих цінних порід деревини. Для легалізації походження лісоматеріалів він використовував фіктивні товарно-транспортні накладні, які оформлював на підконтрольні комерційні структури.
На одному з митних постів правоохоронці заблокували незаконне вивезення міліонної партії лісопродукції за кордон. Також під час обшуків у фігурантів справи виявлено близько 200 кубів кругляка дуба на суму майже 1,2 мільйона гривень.
У межах кримінального провадження за ч. 3 ст. 191 (привласнення, розтрата майна або заволодіння ним шляхом зловживання службовим становищем) Кримінального кодексу України тривають слідчі дії для притягнення до відповідальності осіб, причетних до оборудки.
Викриття та блокування незаконної діяльності проводилось на виконання Указу Президента України «Про деякі заходи щодо збереження лісів та раціонального використання лісових ресурсів».
Операція відбувалась за участі слідчих поліції під процесуальним керівництвом прокуратури Чернівецької області.
