18 жовтня у селі Оселівка Кельменецького району сталася пожежа в господарській будівлі. За попередніми висновками фахівців, вона виникла через необережне поводження з вогнем власників.
Люди сталювали біля споруди листя і сміття, а коли залишили вогонь без нагляду, вітер роздмухав його і полум’я потрапило на будівлю, спричинивши пожежу. Про це повідомляє пресслужба УДСНС у Чернівецькій області.
Пожежу помітили самі власники вже тоді, коли вогонь охопив практично всю покрівлю споруди, і викликали рятувальників. На час приїзду вогнеборців 10 державної пожежно-рятувальної частини смт Кельменці площа пожежі становила 80 кв.м. Рятувальники ліквідували пожежу, попередивши поширення вогню на поруч розташований житловий будинок. Внаслідок пожежі згоріла господарська будівля.
19 жовтня вогнеборці Сокирянщини ліквідовували пожежу у селі Шишківці. Повідомлення про загорання у господарській будівлі у цьому населеному пункті надійшло до Служби порятунку від власників домоволодіння. На ліквідацію пожежі було направлено пожежно-рятувальні підрозділи 8 державної пожежно-рятувальної частини м. Сокиряни та пожежно-сторожової охорони с. Вашківці. На момент їхнього прибуття до місця події, полум’я розповсюдилося на площі 80 кв. м. і охопило покриття та перекриття господарської будівлі. У цих самих межах вогнеборці й ліквідували пожежу в господарській будівлі, при цьому врятувавши її від знищення. Натомість вогонь знищив речі домашнього вжитку, дрова, покриття та перекриття будівлі. Наразі причина цієї пожежі встановлюються.
Решта пожеж рятувальники ліквідували на Вижниччині, Кельменеччині, Хотинщині, Новоселиччині та у місті Чернівці.
