27 жовтня Україна переходить на зимовий час. У неділю о 4:00 годинники переведуть на годину назад. Всім, хто планує поїздку на поїзді або літаку, варто враховувати цей факт при поїздці на вокзал або аеропорт. Крім небезпеки заплутатися в часі існує небезпека переходу на зимовий час для організму. Про це пише інтернет-видання «Уніан».
Лікарі стверджують, що зміна біоритму негативно впливає на здоров’я людини. На адаптацію необхідно близько 2 тижнів, щоб перелаштуватися на новий ритм. Після переведення стрілок лікарі радять прокидатися за старим часом. Не засиджуватися на роботі допізна та харчуватися повноцінно. Також більше часу перебувати на свіжому повітрі.
У 2011 році була спроба скасувати перехід на літній-зимовий час. Потім це рішення відхилили через скарги жителів західної України.
Влітку 2018 року жителі Євросоюзу під час онлайн-голосування підтримали скасування сезонного переведення стрілок годинника, при цьому, більшість з опитаних проголосували за відмову від зимового часу.
Після голосування Єврокомісія запропонувала країнам ЄС в 2019 році відмовитися від сезонного переведення стрілок годинника і в індивідуальному порядку вибрати зимовий або літній час як постійний. Тому, можливо, цього року Україна востаннє переведе стрілки годинника.
