Українці з 1 жовтня не зможуть використовувати монети дрібних номіналів 1, 2 і 5 копійок для розрахунків готівкою у зв’язку з вилученням цих монет з обігу. Про це повідомив заступник голови Національного банку України Сергій Холод в ході брифінгу. Повідомляє на своєму саті УНІАН.
“З 1 жовтня ми більше не зможемо використовувати монети номіналом 1, 2 і 5 копійок для розрахунків готівкою”, – сказав Холод.
Водночас він закликав не панікувати, оскільки ці монети можна буде обміняти безкоштовно протягом трьох років: до 30 вересня 2020 року – у всіх відділеннях українських банків, до 30 вересня 2022 року – в Національному банку та відділеннях “Ощадбанку”, “Приватбанку” та “Райффайзен Банку Аваль”.
За інформацією НБУ, вилучені з обігу монети будуть утилізовані шляхом знищення зображення і переплавлення. Для спрощення готівкових розрахунків в НБУ рекомендували використовувати округлення суми покупки в чеку. Крім того, у НБУ нагадали про поступове вилучення з обігу монет номіналом 25 копійок, але ці монети поки залишаються законним засобом платежу.
Зараз в обігу знаходяться купюри номіналом 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 і 500 гривень, а також монети номіналом 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 копійок, 1 та 2 гривні.
