Цей законопроект було направлено до КС для отримання висновків ще у 2017 році.
Верховна Рада України попередньо схвалила проект Закону про внесення змін до статті 80 Конституції України (щодо недоторканності народних депутатів України) (№7203).
Як передає кореспондент УНІАН, за відповідний проект постанови про попереднє схвалення цього законопроекту проголосували 363 народних депутата із 393, зареєстрованих у сесійній залі.
Проти цього рішення не проголосував ніхто з депутатів, утримався – один. У той же час, зокрема, “Опозиційна платформа – За життя” не дала жодного голосу за цей проект постанови.
Законопроектом №7203 передбачається вилучити з чинної редакції Основного Закону норму про те, що “народні депутати не можуть без згоди Верховної Ради України бути притягнені до кримінальної відповідальності, затримані чи заарештовані”.
При цьому залишається норма про те, що народні депутати не несуть юридичної відповідальності за результати голосування або висловлювання у парламенті та його органах, за винятком відповідальності за образу чи наклеп.
Законопроектом передбачається, що цей закон набере чинності з 1 січня 2020 року.
