26 вересня мешканці Тернавки провели в останню путь видатну людину, чудового педагога, незмінного директора Тернавського НВК протягом останніх 35 років Якова Постівку.
Понад 1000 людей прийшли попрощатися зі своїм вчителем, колегою, другом, родичем. Похоронний кортеж зупинився перед будівлею навчального закладу яким керував Яків Постівка, де в останній раз в знак пошани для нього продзвонив шкільний дзвінок.
Останній період свого життя він присвятив будівництву нового корпусу НВК, який був урочисто відкритий лише на початку цього навчального року. За це, і багато інших заслуг перед громадою села він був удостоєний званням “Почесний громадянин Тернавки” та рядом інших відзнак.
Безперечно Герцаївщина втратила одного з найвидатніших своїх людей.
