Сьогодні, 25 серпня, на Театральній площі у Чернівцях відбувся забіг «Шаную воїнів, біжу за героїв України».
За інформацією організаторів, на забіг зареєструвалося 114 людей. Вони бігли дистанцію у 5 кілометрів.
15-річна Катя взяла участь у забігу тому, що допомагає Збройним Силам України. Вона є волонтеркою та разом з батьком прийшла вшанувати пам‘ять загиблих героїв.
Крім того, разом з буковинцями брав участь у акції й американець Майкл Хакет– заступник аташе з питань культури Посольства США в Україні.
«Забіг «Шаную воїнів, біжу за героїв України» проводиться уже не вперше. Його започаткували минулого року у Києві. Сьогодні будуть бігти не тільки у Чернівцях, а у багатьох містах та у всіх обласних центрах нашої країни. Крок, який сьогодні роблять наші буковинці – це найменше, напевно, чим ми можемо віддячити нашим загиблим героям. Героям, завдяки яким у нас мирне небо над головою і завдяки яким ми можемо організувати та провести такий захід»,- розповіла Леся Михайлюк, волонтерка, одна із організаторів пробігу.
У кожного учасника забігу на футболці під номером було прізвище та ім‘я загиблого воїна за якого він біжить. На номерах вказали усіх загиблих воїнів Буковини.
«Звичайно, є родичі, які біжать за свого героя. Це діти, мами, дружини, брати та сестри. Також, є чернівчани, які виявили бажання бігти просто за героїв»,- додала організаторка.
Усіх учасників нагородили подяками. А медалі отримали тільки ті, хто був першим у своїй віковій категорії.
