Щорічно в Новодністровській гімназії перед святом Великодня проводиться акція милосердя, у якій, за традицією, беруть участь усі класи нашої школи. Суть цієї акції полягає в тому, що гімназисти з кожного класу складають великодній кошик та несуть його до самотніх людей нашого міста.
Уже 3 рік поспіль учні 8-А класу разом із класним керівником В. Г. Чорною провідують Євдокію Федорівну Уманець, яка мешкає сама в будинку 20 «д». Після того, як ми дізнались, що ця людина не була на вулиці цілий рік, ми вирішили знову провідати її після Великодня та прогулятися з нею. Ми зібрались 13 квітня. Під час прогулянки ми багато чого дізнались від Євдокії Федорівни. Зокрема про те, що народилася вона у 1931 році в селі Кормань Сокирянського району, пережила важкі роки війни, що й стало однією з причин її інвалідності. Пізніше, разом із чоловіком брала участь у відбудові електростанції в Іраку. Усе життя Євдокія Федорівна була енергійною та активною людиною, але на старість залишилась самотньою, бо доля прикувала її до інвалідного візка, змушуючи залишати на життєвій стежині слід лише однієї ноги…
Тепла весняна погода на вулиці в цей день спонукала цю жінку для щирих спогадів про своє цікаве і таке непросте життя. Усі отримали задоволення від цієї прогулянки. І ми надіємось, що ще не раз зустрінемось з цією надзвичайно розумною та мудрою людиною.
