Сьогодні, 19 серпня, загорілася церква на Прикарпатті.
Про це повідомляє Галицький Кореспондент з посиланням на Управління ДСНС України в Івано-Франківській області.
Наразі триває ліквідація пожежі церкви в селі Новоселиця Снятинського району. Залучено 6 одиниць техніки та 12 чоловік особового складу від Управління ДСНС в області.
Згодом стало відомо, що вогонь охопив будівлю православної церкви Введення в Храм Пресвятої Діви Марії.
Як повідомляють у ДСНС України, вогнеборці продовжують ліквідовувати пожежу, яку наразі вдалося локалізувати. Натомість очевидці поділилися у соціальній мережі світлинами, на яких видно, що горить не тільки церква, але й розташована поруч дзвіниця.

За попередньою інформацією, жертв та постраждалих немає. До гасіння залучено 19 осіб та шість одиниць техніки. Що стало причиною займання наразі невідомо.
Довідково: Дерев’яну церкву в Новоселиці збудували в 1889 році. Пам’ятка архітектури місцевого значення перебуває у користуванні православної громади села. Введенська церква стоїть посеред південної частини села, на цвинтарі. В плані була хрещата, завершена трьома верхами. З півдня на ширину нави був прибудований зашклений ганок. Зовнішній вигляд церкви тривалий час суттєво не змінювався. З півночі від церкви розташована стара дерев’яна двоярусна дзвіниця. Поблизу зведена нова, мурована надбрамна стінового типу дзвіниця, в якій висить четверо дзвонів.
