Сьогодні, 2 серпня, о 04:00 годині ранку, на перехресті вулиць Головна, Південно-Кільцева патрульні помітили транспортний засіб Mercedes-Benz E270, який порушив правила дорожнього руху.
За інформацією пресслужби УПП в Чернівецькій області, вимоги про зупинку у гучномовець, звукові сигнали та увімкнені червоні й сині проблискові маячки водій ігнорував та продовжував рух в напрямку села Коровія. Патрульні переслідували автомобіль та подавали вимогу про зупинку, але водій збільшив швидкість та почав втікати.
У зв’язку із погіршенням погодних умов для того, щоб не наражати на небезпеку інших учасників дорожнього руху, поліцейські прийняли рішення припинити переслідування. Інспектори продовжили рух в напрямку села Валя Кузьмина. Біля АЗС “Amic” патрульні виявили ДТП із автомобілем, який намагався втекти.
Водій транспортного засобу не впорався з керуванням та допустив наїзд на електроопору, здійснивши з’їзд на узбіччя.
На місце події викликали ЛШМД та слідчо-оперативну групу Глибоцького ВП.
