Співробітники патрульної поліції, які спричинили ДТП вночі 16 вересня 2018 та збили насмерть 28-річного чоловіка по вул. Руській у Чернівцях, досі працюють в Управлінні патрульної поліції Чернівецької області.
Про це на пресконференції про підбиття підсумків роботи патрульної поліції у Чернівецькій області за перше півріччя 2019 року розповів начальник УПП у Чернівецькій області Артур Шкроб після запитання журналістів.

“На час проведення службового розслідування, так як того вимагає закон, ми можемо і маємо право, відповідно ми це зробили – відсторонили патрульних від займаних посад. Наразі вони продовжують нести службу в підрозділі до рішення суду.
Я це завжди кажу: якщо поліцейський винен, він має нести відповідальність відповідно до норм чинного законодавства. Крапка. Цю ситуацію потрібно вивчати і потрібно досліджувати. Якщо це компетенція суду, то тільки після рішення суду можна щось стверджувати”, – сказав Артур Шкроб.
