У залі ДЮСШ м. Хотин, за ініціативи міської ради, вкотре відбулися змагання з боксу серед спортсменів 2002-2008 р.н. та старших. Змагання проводилися з метою пропаганди активного способу життя , популяризації та розвитку боксу в м.Хотин та підвищення спортивної майстерності боксерів.
Цьогоріч до Хотина приїхали боксери з Чернівців, Кам’янець – Подільського, Хмельницького, Вашківців, Рахова,Коломиї, Молдови. Боксери різних вагових категорій (від 32 кг до 90 кг.) показали справжній професіоналізм на рингу та достойно продемонстрували власні навики.
За період змагань відбулося близько 130 поєдинків, в яких вибороли перемогу і Хотинські спортсмени: брати Булаковські, Іван Васильєв, Іван Майданський, Дмитро Подорожній.
