У результаті ніхто не постраждав. Подія кваліфікована як терористичний акт. У столиці введена спеціальна поліцейська операція для затримання стрільця.
О 3:40 до поліції надійшло повідомлення про те, що місцеві мешканці чули звук, схожий на вибух, на вулиці Дегтярівській у Шевченківському районі міста. За вказаною адресою негайно виїхали слідчо-оперативні групи територіального та Головного управлінь поліції, вибухотехніки, кінологи та екіпажі патрульних.
Прибувши на виклик, поліцейські виявили пошкоджений фасад будівлі та оточили територію, прилеглу до місця злочину. При відпрацюванні знайшли відстріляний тубус гранатомета, який направлять на проведення експертизи.
Відомості про подію внесли до Єдиного реєстру досудових розслідувань за ч. 1 ст. 258 (Терористичний акт) Кримінального кодексу України.
На даний час зусилля правоохоронців спрямовані за встановлення та затримання осіб, причетних до вчинення правопорушення, а також мотиви його скоєння.
Усі зібрані матеріали будуть за підслідністю передані у Службу безпеки України для подальшого розслідування.
