За незаконне вирощування рослин пенсіонерам загрожує обмеження волі на строк до трьох років.
18 червня під час проведення профілактичних заходів щодо виявлення і знищення незаконних посівів нарковмісних рослин, працівники Кіцманського відділу поліції задокументували три факта незаконного посіву снотворного маку. У місті Кіцмань на своїй присадибній ділянці 59-річний чоловік вирощував 236 рослин маку, а з території домашнього господарства 67-річної жительки райцентру вилучено 203 рослини, також у 58-річної жінки поліцейські виявили 155 рослин снотворного маку. Про це повідомляє відділ комунікації поліції у Чернівецькій області.
Увесь вилучений мак поліцейські направили на експертизу.
За вказаними фактами слідчі розпочали кримінальні провадження за ознаками злочину, передбаченого частиною 1 статті 310 (Посів або вирощування снотворного маку чи конопель) Кримінального кодексу України.
