Громадянам, які підлягають призову на військову строкову службу варто знати, що державою створено всі умови для комфортного проходження служби та передбачено надання соціального пакету. На початку служби військовослужбовець отримує грошову допомогу у розмірі 2-х прожиткових мінімумів. З 1 січня поточного року він складає 3 800 грн. Стаж проходження військової строкової служби зараховується до загального стажу роботи і дає право на призначення пенсії на пільгових умовах за віком. За офіційно працевлаштованими призовниками на період служби зберігається робоче місце та заробітна плата. Про це повідомляє прес-служба Чернівецького ОВК.
Разом із зазначеними соціальними пільгами військовослужбовцю упродовж періоду проходження служби надається відпустка тривалістю 10 календарних днів без урахування часу, необхідного для проїзду до місця проведення відпустки та назад. Строковики під час проходження служби перебувають на повному державному утриманні. Вони розміщуються у зручних казармах, забезпечуються щоденним 3-разовим харчуванням та військовою формою у відповідності до сезону.
Окрім того, на особисті потреби військовим виплачується щомісяця близько 400 грн. Строковики також мають право на безоплатний проїзд усіма видами транспорту загального користування міського, приміського та міжміського сполучення, за винятком таксі.
При звільненні в запас військовослужбовцям виплачується вихідна грошова допомога у розмірі від 8-ми посадових окладів залежно від військового звання і посади. Після звільнення в запас і взяття на військовий облік за місцем проживання, за поданням військового комісаріату, юнакам виплачується матеріальна допомога в розмірі середньої зарплати, встановленої на день призову для громадян, які працювали.
Варто пам’ятати, що військовослужбовці строкової служби до виконання завдань в зоні проведення Операції об’єднаних сил не залучаються.
