У рамках спільної операції «Мігрант» прикордонниками спільно з поліцейськими та представниками міграційної служби в Чернівецькій області на Сторожинеччині затримано іноземця, який намагався перетнути кордон поза пунктом пропуску. Про це повідомляє прес-служба Чернівецького прикордонного загону.
Правоохоронці затримали чоловіка ще на підході до державної межі, а саме на околиці населеного пункту Банилів-Підгірний. Іноземець намагався порушити кордон з подальшою мандрівкою країнами ЄС. Як стало відомо згодом, мандрівником виявився громадянин Гвінеї. На даний час гвінейця притягнуто до відповідальності за спробу незаконного перетину кордону. Подальшу долю чужинця вирішуватиме суд.
