Буковина знову плаче…
Сьогодні, у Світлий Вівторок, у Чернівцях прощалися з учасником АТО АТО Віктором Завальнюком. Відспівали померлого Героя у Церкві Різдва Пресвятої Богородиці та Святого Антонія. Після того всі охочі мали змогу віддати останню шану Героєві на Центральній площі Чернівців. Під час прощання з Віктором для нього з Ратуші прозвучала славетна «Марічка», а церковний хор виконав «Гей, пливе кача…». Герою тричі вигукували «Слава!!!». Чернівчани в знак пошани ставали навколішки перед труною з тілом Віктора, стримати сльози не могли навіть чоловіки…
Він вижив на війні, але важка хвороба передчасно забрала його життя вже тут – на мирній території… Віктор Завальнюк брав активну участь у Помаранчевій революції 2004 року та Майдані 2014 року. Після того одразу ж вирушив добровольцем на війну захищати незалежність та територіальну цілісність України.
Завальнюк Віктор Васильович народився 12 лютого 1984 року у неблагополучній сім‘ї чернівчан. Згодом тата з мамою позбавили батьківських прав, а маленького Вітю передали до дитбудинку. З того часу хлопчик виховувався у дитбудинку в Оршівцях, навчався в школах-інтернатах у Чернівцях та Хотині.
Взимку 2014 року Віктор потрапив у зону бойових дій – служив у в/ч В0440. Воював в Авдіївці на Донеччині. Демобілізувався у вересні 2015 року.
Поховали Героя Віктора Завальнюка на Центральному кладовищі Чернівців з військовими почестями – під траурну мелодію військового оркестру та салютні залпи.
27 квітня 2019 року Віктор помер у лікарні від важкої недуги.
